I haven’t been around for awhile… I suppose it’s about time I continued this bloggy thing.  Sometimes I wonder about people.  They just cannot get happier or nicer or even slightly more pleasant.  It’s like nothing anyone else does to help actually does help… They’re still as hopeless and sad or angry as they were before they talked to you.  Although talking may help a bit, it doesn’t seem to show or make a difference.  How do you help people who refuse to see anything positive or beautiful either subconsciously or for reasons like music, writing, etc? So many people are down lately, it seems like there’s no fixing things…. School stress, family members’ stupidity, friends’ depression, relationship issues.  I offer them anything they need, but no one ever takes advantage of it.  All I want is for them to get happier, yet not one of them realizes that I mean that honestly and they refuse to let me help them!! I don’t think they realize that people do care about them and would miss them if they weren’t around.  Just the other night a boy was trying to convince me (the one who was trying to tell him that people love him) that no one would miss him if he just fell off the edge of the world basically.  It’s a rather depressing situation. He’s not suicidal though, so don’t anyone start freaking out about how I need to tell counselor’s and stuff… They don’t ever seem to really help situations like this.  I’m not going to proofread this, I don’t feel the need to get all frustrated with myself and other people but sometimes even I need to talk about this kind of thing.  Sorry for being annoying and complaining about things that I bring upon myself… I really shouldn’t do this, but the stress of it all just needs to be released sometimes.  Anyway.

Hiya!

I haven’t been on in a while, so I thought I’d pay Tumblr a little visit!:)

Since I last posted….

• Today is Justin Bieber’s birthday!:) He’s 17 just so that everyone knows:)
• I’ve been fairly happy lately
• Baseball tryouts started…. I’m so psyched for the season to start! It’s my favorite sport:)) And plus I can go to watch Jared and all my baseball buddies!
• So Cniderians are grody.
• Geometry is really hard lately….
• My mum and I are getting along better now:)
• I played Zombies on Call of Duty with Eli and Avery for the first time on Sunday and I got 16 kills!! And 5 head shots!! For a noob, I think it’s pretty epic.
• We have Friday off from school:D
• In lighting I made a new friend named Kitty! He’s pretty chill:) I love lighting, even though we all kinda talk loud… Especially Steven and I.

Over all, that’s it:) I’ve never been good at keeping up with stuff like this…. Oh well:)

Take 2 Warning: Happy Birthday Christopher Drew!

Today was Never Shout Never’s Christopher Drew’s 20th birthday:) I had this gigantor entry written out then tumblr failed to post it and deleted my copy, so I’ll have a full entry written out tomorrow… Because I love Chris so much:)))) And he surely deserves a longer entry. All in all, expect a looooong version of this with more about Chris tomorrow:)) Love you sooooo much, Christopher Drew! Peace:)) And now I leave you, Jenna:)

Moral Implications of the Pollen Lab

Today in Biology Lab, we were supposed to match random flower pollen to the right pollen sample, which had been collected by the teachers, after collecting a sample from different flowers.  Flowers have both the girl and boy parts in them and today we were only dealing with the boy parts, the filament, anther, and pollen… Otherwise know as the stamen. We had to rub the pollen off each anther of snap dragons, alstromeria, and oriental lillies with a toothpick.  I know this sounds rather immature, but I feel like we molested the poor things! I’m sure the flowers weren’t there by choice and had no say in the matter.  Also, some of the snap dragons, whose pollen was more difficult to reach, were torn apart in that process! The alstromeria, which had smaller stamens than the lillies, just had their stamens plucked right out! I can’t think of one male that I know who would enjoy that happening to them.  It was in the name of science, and although they do not have brains, they at least have some sort of process going on in them… Otherwise why would they grow more when people sing or talk to them?

Maybe it is just me, but this process was rather rude to the flowers, they’re living too.
